TTC Call for Applications

The Technical Trainers College (TTC) is pleased to announce its call for applications for academic semester 2011/2012. The TTC offers an internationally accredited degree as a vocational trainer and seeks young Saudi nationals interested in a career as future vocational trainers. Online applications for the first semester of the academic year 2011-2012 are welcome from 8th of December 2011 until 18th of December 2011. TVTC is offering all TTC trainees a monthly scholarship of 1000 SAR. Highly qualified vocational trainers have a very good employment perspective in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

What is TTC?
TTC provides all round training for vocational trainers in line with international standards. The six semester training program will be provided in English language. It provides up-to-date knowledge and skills in vocational pedagogy and in one vocational discipline. Successful trainees will be awarded a national and an internationally recognized vocational trainer certificate at Bachelor level (Bachelor of Engineering Technology/BET and Certified Technical and Vocational Trainer). The Technical Trainers College currently offers seven bachelor degree programs in the following specializations:

Throughout the whole program, all trainees will be provided with high-standard Technical and Business English and Vocational Pedagogy skills, and with substantive field practice in companies and practical teaching experience.

Applicant Eligibility

Prospective applicants being interested in a future career as a vocational trainer will be admitted. Applicants have to fulfill the following conditions:
  • Being a Saudi national.
  • Graduated from one of the Colleges of Technology (CoT) in the field he applied for as indicated above.
  • Having a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.5/5.0.
  • Maximum age 28 years.
  • Being not employed in the private or public sector at the start of the training program. Applicants may well be employed at the time admission but have to give up employment at the beginning of the training program.
  • Passing English language Intensive skills program held at TVTC.
  • Passing the interview.
  • Not being dismissed from TTC.
  • Good conduct certificate.
  • Good health conditions.

Applicants will be admitted through a competitive process. They will be selected on the basis of prior academic achievements and proficiency in English.

Documents needed for registration of admitted TTC trainees:

  • Application form to attend college
  • ID Card and two copies
  • Original CoT Certificate and two certified copies
  • Transcripts (academic records) from the CoT
  • Four personal photos
  • Original good conduct certificate and two certified copies
  • Health Certificate
  • Passing TVTC intensive English language program
  • certificate from former employer stating the termination of employment with exact date
